They Spent $70k on a Cell Phone?

With the divide between the rich and the rest of us growing wider each day, it's no wonder this story sent me into a slight tizzy this weekend. This is so seriously outlandish there's no way you could make it up. This company Vertu, a division of Nokia, is actually selling cell phones for $70,000 a pop. When Will They Ever Learn?

Irony Alert- Day 50 of the Spill is World Oceans Day

Isn't it ironic, don't you think? It's Day 50 of the worst man-made environmental disaster in the world which will destroy the Gulf of Mexico for, optimistically, at least a generation. When the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded on Earth Day - April 20 - I don't think any of us ever thought we'd be here today, talking about the disaster it started.
