NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg took the cowardly way out and ordered the NYPD to raid and clear out Zuccotti Park (aka Liberty Square) at around 1:30 this morning. Now, 1:30 is not morning - it's in the middle of night. Under cover of darkness, and without allowing the media access to witness the eviction, members of the NYPD descended upon Zuccotti and ordered the protesters to leave. BofA cancels Debit Fees – A Victory for the Protesters

Today's reversal by Bank of America on their proposed $5 monthly fee for users of debit cards shows that our voices are being heard. The Beginning is Here

A sign I saw in Washington DC's Freedom Plaza read "The Beginning is Near!". It's obviously a play on the paranoids' "the end is near" theme.. but it was wrong. The Beginning is HERE!
