8-22-16 Nicole Sandler Show – Back to School, Weather Permitting
I decided to cut the show back to one hour a day today and, of course, forgot to start the recorder going. On top of that, I forgot to start the YouTube stream! So today's show begins already in progress... It just shows how scattered I've been lately. The one thing I haven't been scattered about is the cancer. I keep all the doctors appointments straight and, for the most part, have stayed on top of the stupid, unnecessary, bullshit referrals. I did my research and met with three surgeons, and made a decision. And now my surgery is scheduled [...]
8-24-15 Nicole Sandler Show – School Starts, Stocks Dive, Trumpets Blare
It's the first day of school here in South Florida, but we'll still be knee deep in campaign season a year from now! Today, Nicole speaks with Joel Silberman about Donald Trump's Fri night Alabama rally & his penchant for exaggeration. Cliff Schecter tells us about his naughty weekend, sneaking into the Defending Freedom conference and getting a selfie with Rafael Cruz.

It's the 46th anniversary of the infamous police riot that broke out during the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, when police brutalized thousands of anti-war protesters on nationwide television as the demonstrators chanted, “The whole world is watching.” 57 years ago today, North Carolina Sen. Strom Thurmond began an (unsuccessful) attempt to filibuster the Civil Rights Act of 1957. He spoke for 24 hours and 18 minutes, setting a record [...]
Anyone Else Missing an Hour? Schools? Media Responsibility?
Damn Daylight Savings Time. Don't get me wrong. I like the fact that it stays light out later; I just hate losing an hour of valuable sleep time this time every year. We should really pick a time and stick with it. Unbelievably, Arizona does something right! Anyway, barring my tired status this morning, it was a busy show. I filled listeners in on our Saturday evening in the emergency room. Alison had a softball injury that turned out to be a sprained index finger. I erred on the side of caution, and will likely get some interesting programming out [...]
