Marriage Equality at the Supreme Court

History will be made today and tomorrow at the Supreme Court, as the high court hears a challenge to Prop 8 today, and to the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) tomorrow. On my show this morning, I spoke with Judge David Young, the first openly gay man to sit on the bench in Florida (perhaps even in the country), who left the court to host the Judge David Young Show. Caucus Casualty

The Iowa caucuses are history.  We could call it much ado about nothing, as it really doesn't mean anything at all.  Except to Michelle Bachmann to called it quits today after her last place finish yesterday. It is truly a loss for comedians everywhere.  But honestly, I'm just thrilled I don't have to hear her call it the Unined States any more.  We did however learn that President Obama is a socialist and, left to his devices, America would become a Socialist country, and "obamacare" will destroy American society and life as we know it. This Is Not My America

I'm still in shock over the NYPD's brutality this weekend.  I grew up learning about the unique rights we have here in the United States. Chief among them is our freedom of speech, which includes our rights of peaceful assembly and protest. This weekend in NYC the police brutally assaulted young people exercising their rights, and corralled a group of women who were breaking no laws while a police captain - Anthony Bologna -  violated them by spraying them with pepper spray.  The video is below, in an entry posted Saturday evening.
