I’m on a virtual one-woman quest, spreading the news that Joe Biden is serious about big changes. He signed an Executive Order Friday that would encourage competition, limit monopolies and rein in the bad guys. Seriously.
Yesterday, I spent the whole hour with the brilliant Cory Doctorow. But the other person I wanted to talk with about this was Zephyr Teachout!
Zephyr Teachout is a law professor at Fordham University, and a longtime activist who recently ran for NY Attorney General.. Her latest book, Break ‘Em Up: Recovering Our Freedom from Big Ag, Big Tech, and Big Money directly addresses the issues Biden is now finally dealing with. Zephyr also wrote about the massive Executive Order for The Nation, shortly after it was published. She my guest today as we continue the conversation I started yesterday with Cory Doctorow.
