The shit is hitting the Fox! And it’s about time.  

Well, actually, it’s hitting News Corp in Great Britain right now, as authorities are moving forward with criminal charges against Rupert’s former right hand editor, Rebekah Brooks, and the Murdoch man recruited by Prime Minister David Cameron order to curry favor with the media mogul, Andy Coulson (plus six others) due to their unethical practice of hacking into citizens’ phones to get big stories…  

This morning, I chatted with journalist and author of Dial M for Murdoch, Martin Hickman.  As he’s a subject of the Queen, I also picked his brain on the Olympics, the numerous gaffes already made by Mittens since he’s been on their shores, the fact that it’s virtually impossible to get a gun in Great Britain (and the horror felt by the British over last week’s mass murders in Aurora, CO), and the quality of their socialized medical system (and the horror felt by the British over the absurdity and inhumanity of our lack of a decent health care system over here).

Because we’re all in need of some intelligent humor, I was thrilled to re-connect with John Fugelsang this morning.  It had been a few weeks since we last spoke, and I was going through sexy liberal withdrawals…  (not that that’s really possible, as John is the busiest sexy liberal in the business!).

And when I got the email yesterday about the formation of the Dump (Allen) West Super PAC, I had to invite its founder on the show… so I spoke with  Andrew Perez on the show this morning.  Let’s get this mad man out of Congress, please.
