8-17-22 Nicole Sandler Show – From Wyoming Primary Day to Crazy Religious Zealotry

Download here or click below to play, (or watch the video at the bottom of the page!)   Yesterday, primary elections were held in Wyoming and Alaska, and the results are pretty much what we expected. But there were some unusual voting patterns in parts of Wyoming, so this morning I called the one person I know there. My old friend Mark "Fish" Fishman is Program Director and hosts mornings on KMTN 96.9FM in Jackson. (Click on the link to listen to their live stream. 7-5-22 Nicole Sandler Show – American Life After the Establishment Cause (Freedom of Religion)

Download here or click below to play, (or watch the video at the bottom of the page!)   The US Extreme Court, formerly known as Supreme, has decimated some of the principles upon which this nation was founded. Today, we focus on the illegitimate three (and their three accomplices) who have, with some of their recent rulings, decimated the separation of church and state and with it the First Amendment's Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause. As she often writes about religious extremists and their impact on politics, I was happy to see that she has a piece in the Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz about [...]

It’s a Mad World

How else could you explain Michele Bachmann actually being taken seriously as a presidential candidate?  She came out on top, so to speak, of the Ames Straw Poll. Interesting, too, that the "front-runner" Mitt Willard Romney had such a poor showing.  OK, I know he didn't actually participate - but neither did Sarah Palin, and she's not even a declared candidate, and she fared better than he did! In case you're wondering the exact breakdown (courtesy of MSNBC)... 2011 Straw Poll Full Results (Votes, %) 1. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (4823, 28.55%) 2. Congressman Ron Paul (4671, 27.65%) 3. Governor Tim [...]
