Unrest and Disorder

  The more things change, the more they stay the same. Last night, the peace in Ferguson, MO was once again shattered by a standoff between police and protesters. According to the police, provocateurs in the crowd fired guns and threw Molotov cocktails at the line of police. According to protesters (as well as media representatives on my show today), the aggression came from the uniformed force of power attempting to disperse the crowd. Sometimes, the analogy just appears out of nowhere. This morning while picking today's pre-show music, I was thinking that the GOP was stuck.  So I played songs that fit that theme leading up to the start of the show for those who checked in on one of my feeds a little early. Politics is a dance.  More often than not, it's infuriating.  But it's the biggest reality show out there, where the winner gets the power.  And we're just in time for the fall season.
