I took that picture of a little boy yesterday at the Obama rally in Hollywood FL.  My 13 year old daughter only accompanied me because it was my birthday, and I hope that someday she’ll look back on it and remember that she saw our first African American President in person.

I also hope that, in his second term, President Obama will become a truly great leader.

Today is election day and, as soon as this post is up, I’ll be taking my absentee ballot in to the Broward County Supervisor of Elections office in person, and will wait until they verify that my signature matches the one they have on file.  I will do everything in my power to insure that my vote will count!  I hope you’ll do the same.

This morning on the show, I spoke with a couple of guests who were on last week. Investigative Journalist extraordinaire Greg Palast was on with me last Monday, as his piece for The Nation on Mitt Romney making millions off of the auto bailout broke.  Today he joined me to discuss how, on Friday, the United Auto Workers and other groups filed an ethics complaint against Romney for failing to disclose those profits.

A special bonus – in honor of election day, today and tomorrow only, Greg is offering a free download of Billionaires and Ballot Bandits.  Take advantage and read this book!.

I also checked in with Greg Basta of NY Communities for Change.  They’ve been taking donations (please help if you can) to load cars, trucks and buses with donations and delivering them directly to the people in the most need from the ravages of Hurricane Sandy.

And Juliana Forlano checked in from Park Slope, Brooklyn too…

Finally, I played this video on the show this morning from my friends at New Left Media.  They spoke with Romney supporters at a rally in Ohio last week. Don’t let the ignorance win. Please vote for President Obama… we’ll push him hard again beginning Wednesday, I promise!
