The pandemic is in its third year, the Russian war against Ukraine is in its second week, and the world is mad. I’ve been staying in close contact with my new friend from Kyiv, who’s now in a small village much closer to the border with Poland while they wait to see what happens next. As I’ve been doing, I’ll continue to update you on her situation, and when she’s ready, will bring her on the air to talk with us. But not until she’s ready. I can’t even imagine what she’s going through right now.
Today, I’ll get together with two of my closest women friends… GottaLaff, who would have been here anyway as it’s *her* Tuesday. And Amy Simon, the cultural HERstorian behind the play She’s History: The Most Dangerous Women in America, Then and Now… The three of us used to get together weekly as the Gliberal Goddesses. Well, for one show only, we’re back!
