Sometimes I get so frustrated and/or disheartened and/or annoyed by some of the news stories of the day that I can’t bring myself to write about them. Here are a few recent reports that made my blood pressure hit the roof. I am avoiding delving into them at length out of concern for my physical and mental health.
- Cattle pens, threats of violence, blacklists, total lack of access. Time for journalists to say: Enough is enough! Transparency by and access to presidential candidates? Respect for the First Amendment? What could my pal Will Bunch be thinking?
- The actual author of the book Donald Trump claims he wrote is also the author of the tweet below. Now if only he could convince his former employer to actually, you know, show up for the debates:
Trump isn’t preparing for debates because he can’t. No attention span = deep ignorance about issues. He will be all bluster, no substance.

- Report: Former models for Trump’s agency say they violated immigration rules and worked illegally on tourist visas in US: The Trump Model Management housed its models in the East Village: “The apartment was like a sweatshop,” said a former Trump model… “‘It is like modern-day slavery,’ Blais said of working for Trump Model Management…”
Now a walk down Memory Lane in Trump’s own words:
“I have been very, very good for women,” he said. “I was way ahead of the curve.”
Clearly, nobody has bigly-er respect for women than Don-Don, only the best respect, that I can tell you, believe me.
See what I mean? So who’s up for a couple of Margs or a trough of wine?
