I apologize for the delay in posting this show. I’ve been turned upside down and inside out of late — sort of like this country. We have fallen through the looking glass and entered Opposite World©.
I was actually out during this show — I had my first three-month post-surgery follow-up with my oncologist. We did a CT scan last week, and this appointment was to go over the results. And the news is great. He said it all looks wonderful. So, three months from now, we’ll do it again. But for now, I’m cancer-free!
That’s the good news. Part of what sent me over the edge last week was finally sitting down to find a health insurance plan for next year. We’re currently with United Healthcare, paying $360 a month for my husband and myself. UHC is pulling out of the ACA exchanges, so I looked to see what was there.
To make a long story short…. The most inexpensive policy that is accepted by UM/Sylvester Cancer Center is $978 a month, through Florida Blue.
Laffy and I talked about all that and lots more…
