The book on the 2020 election is out and it’s a page-turner. Today, I chat with Edward-Isaac Dovere, author of Battle for the Soul: Inside the Democrats’ Campaigns To Defeat Trump. I’m able to read this book because I know how it ended. That didn’t stop my blood pressure from rising when I started reading it. It was election night 2016 and, for the first time, we learn how both Joe Biden and Barack Obama received the news that Donald Trump would be the 45th president.
We’ll also speak with someone who will hopefully become part of the soul of the Democratic Party, as Shervin Aazami, candidate for Congress from CA’s 30th district drops in to introduce himself.
