Edit** I owe you more than that! Since the show ended, my mood went from bad to worse. It all started earlier today when I decided that I wanted to purge any Trump voters from my life. Well, from my social media, anyway. So I started a little experiment this morning. I asked my Facebook “friends” and “followers” who had voted for Trump and why.
I was pleasantly surprised that there were very few. Most who identified themselves were not “friends” so I left them alone. But the few who were, I simply “unfriended”. But there was one that stung more than the others. I don’t know why… it’s someone I don’t think I ever met in person, though he did fill-in work on talk radio in Los Angeles when I was living there doing music radio. We’ve been friendly acquaintances on Facebook over the years.
I knew he filled in on right wing hate-talk radio. That’s the only type of talk radio (over the air) work available these days. I somehow thought he hadn’t gotten infected. But he chimed in on my page to say that yes, by God, he voted for Trump too…
This is what happened after my show today…
I will unplug this weekend, and turn toward the music. I’ll be testing the waters for a new weekly music show I’ll be hosting on Sunday mornings. I’ll put in a few of the songs and make sure the equipment all works Sunday morning 9 to noon ET at radiobuzz101.com. Maybe I’ll hang out in our chatroom here…
