Tonight is GOP debate #4, this one pitting moderators from Fox Business and the Wall Street Journal against the candidates, thought apparently they all believe Fox will be kinder to them than the previous questioners.
Predictions for tonight include Trump and Carson, and Bush and Rubio going after each other with the others watching, saying “Thank God it’s not me.” Although Fox says its moderators will stick to questions about economics, most believe Carson has to address his weirdly padded bio.
Digging up dirt on candidates is the job of Opposition (or Oppo) Researchers. This morning I spoke with one of the best-know operatives in the world of oppo research, James E. Carter IV.
If the name sounds familiar, it could be because former President Jimmy Carter is his grandfather. But he’s best known as the guy who found and released the infamous Mitt Romney 47% recording that probably cemented his fate as the loser of the 2012 presidential election!
Carter parlayed that into the start of his new firm, Carter Research LLC. His blog is at jecarter4.tumblr.com.
In hour two, it was the return of the Gliberal Goddesses: @GottaLaff, Amy Simon and I shoot the shit about whatever is on our minds, and we did.

And finally, a public service announcement from Radio or Not:
FRIENDS OF BERNIE: ACTION ALERT!
The League of Conservation Voters have issued a statement regarding their intent to endorse Hillary Clinton. This is *total insider politics*, as LCV Board Chairwoman Carol Browner was EPA appointee under Bill Clinton. Why does this stink? Because Bernie Sanders has a 95% score with LCV, compared to Clinton’s 82%. Because Bernie opposed Keystone from day one, no hesitation. Due to his leadership, Burlington, VT became the 1st city in the County to run on 100% renewables. Meanwhile, Hillary’s major fundraising bundlers have ties to fossil-fuels. CALL LCV President Gene Karpinski now at 202-785-8683 ext. 601. Express your concerns. Find them on Twitter at @LCVoters.
