As I prepare for today’s show, I’m listening to the final vote confirming Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the US Supreme Court, making her the first Black woman to join the court. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple vote is being delayed by the antics of Rand Paul who, for some reason, is holding up the proceedings. She already has 53 AYE votes, enough for confirmation, so what’s the holdup? My patience is wearing thin with these sorry excuses for human beings.

As I was discussing her sickening treatment by the reprehensible Republicans on the committee, I pulled out a compilation of offensive questions of Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings back in 1991., and read her oped in today’s Washington Post.

It’s Thursday, so Howie Klein of Down with Tyranny and the Blue America PAC is here… it’s been a busy day so far, and only promises to get a bit busier… and of course, we’ve yet to discover what Rand Paul’s problem is (though that’s been the case for years already)!
