Vincent Bugliosi is best known for his prosecution of Charles Manson and his book about the crimes and the trial, Helter Skelter.  But he’s written lots of books and prosecuted even more cases. I’ve interviewed him a number of times over the years, including when he released his takedown of the Kennedy assassination and his examination of the existence or not of God.

But the book of his that really got me excited was The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder.  I interviewed him at (then-progressive talk, now sports) WINZ/Miami when it was first published in 2008 and on Air America when the paperback version came out. In it, American’s most celebrated prosecutor lays out the case against the president who lied us into war for the murder of the 4500 Americans who died in Iraq due to his misdeeds.

In 2012, the book was adapted for the big screen in a documentary called The Prosecution of an American President.

Considering the difficulties Mr. Bugliosi encountered in getting the book published and being interviewed upon its released, I’m not surprised that I was unaware of the film’s existence. With the DVD release today, I was thrilled to have Vincent back on my show to talk about why the 43rd president and his inner circle should all be prosecuted for murder.

In the second hour, it was the return of the Gliberal Goddesses. Every other Tuesday morning, I’m joined by GottaLaff and Amy Simon to talk about whatever is on our minds. Today we touched on the Sugar Daddy/Sugar Baby phenomena as outlined by Lisa Ling on CNN, womb transplants, the impending end of the world, things we learned about our parents that we might have been better off not knowing, and this crazy phone call my significant other received this morning:

David enjoys messing with these people when they call. I’m just stunned that Mike Huckabee would stoop so low. Then again, no I’m not.

Back tomorrow with more fun and games, and Susie Madrak too, Radio or Not!
