Wisconsin, we need a big win tonight!

In the first hour of today’s show, I pointed out more of the rubber and glue mentality of Hillary Clinton’s campaign and supporters. I’m always talking about opposite world; they’re living it.

I believe the psychological term for this is “projection”.

Psychological projection is a theory in psychology in which humans defend themselves against their own unpleasant impulses by denying their existence while attributing them to others.

[1] For example, a person who is habitually rude may constantly accuse other people of being rude. It can take the form of blame shifting. According to some research, the projection of one’s negative qualities onto others is a common process in everyday life.

Thanks Wikipedia, that explains the trend perfectly.

A great example of that came in the last few minutes of today’s show. GottaLaff was on with me, as she is each Tuesday morning in the second hour, when I spotted a troublesome Re-Tweet from a friend.  This is the offending Tweet (note that the Tweeter is not anyone I know).

Jeff Weaver just said the Sanders campaign would not encourage young voters to turn out for Hillary Clinton if she’s the nominee

If Bernie Sanders is the nominee, he will get the overwhelming support of Democrats in the race. The question is who can capture and mobilize young people and independents in this race to bring them out and have them vote in the general election so that we can elect not just Bernie Sanders, but Democrats up and down the ballot. Hillary Clinton is not going to do that. All these young people coming out for Bernie Sanders – are they going to come out for Hillary Clinton? I’m not so confident about that, given how many times she’s dissed them recently.

And here’s what the offending lying Tweeter alleged:

Jeff Weaver just said the Sanders campaign would not encourage young voters to turn out for Hillary Clinton if she’s the nominee

Rubber/glue. Is it November yet?
