caucus

The big day has arrived! It’s caucus day in Iowa and the 2016 presidential sweepstakes is game on!

On today’s show, I was joined by media trainer and strategist Joel Silberman who referenced this NY Times article when he said he may have been wrong about the advise he would have had for Bernie Sanders if he had been given a chance to coach him.

And although you and I know that Bernie already won by eviscerating all the predictions about his candidacy, a win tonight will be epic.

Meanwhile, 22 of Hillary Clinton’s emails from what was supposed to be the final release will not be released as those emails are now classified “Top Secret.” Jason Leopold, (the government-dubbed “FOIA Terroist” who is actually the FOIA Master) of Vice News, the guy whose FOIA lawsuits prompted the release of these emails, joined me today to tell us what’s going on with them. (Read Jason’s Vice articles here.)

And finally, if you’re anywhere close to my age, every four years you probably yearn for a campaign like Pat Paulsen‘s. For those who are too young to remember Pat Paulsen, watch this. It’s worth your time, I promise.

In 2016, it’s Boston’s own Jimmy Tingle who’s running for president. Actually, he usually does, but this time, he launched a new party too — Humor for Humanity.

Although he won’t be at any of the NH debates this week, he is in Manchester tonight and tomorrow night, and in Concord later in the week. Info and tickets are here

Tomorrow, the post-caucus gathering of the Gliberal Goddesses™ (GottaLaff, Amy Simon & moi)! Plus Denis Campbell’s experience with emergency medical care in England over the weekend and more, radio or not!
