Today, I was joined by two remarkable, wonderful women to help me get through this Wednesday. Susie Madrak of Crooks & Liars and I spoke about everything from Chris Christie’s latest woes to Obama’s veto of Keystone XL (and how that’s certainly not the end of that fight).

In hour two, I was joined by my friend and fellow FloriDUH-based mom and writer, Deborah Newell Tornello for another edition of the Oy FloriDUH Files, touching on the medical marijuana fight, our insane and criminal governor Rick Scott, the empty suit that is Marco Rubio, and a lot more that we deal with down here in the “Sunshine State.”

I tried to stay away from the topic that has brought out the worst in me and so many others this week, except for a couple of pertinent articles that I read from at the start of the show.

A listener sent me this article from The Statesman, published last February, called “The Uses and Abuses of Intersectionality.” It was the best thing I read on the topic, and I read a lot about it over the past 48 hours.

I also shared this Daily Beast piece from Kelli Goff, “PC Culture is Taking Over Newsrooms,” which I think applies as well.

Tomorrow, Amy Simon of She’s History will give us a refresher course on the history of the feminist movement here in the US, and GottaLaff will join in, as the Gliberal Goddesses gather again… radio or not.
