Phot-OH! #BlameObama

I still can't bring myself to write about the outrage, despair, and anger I feel about the election outcomes. But that doesn't mean I won't stop fighting for what's right, what's just, and what's liberal and progressive and good for the US of A. It only means that I won't subject myself to the stress that comes with ranting about the injustices and utter idiocy that we face, now that we have a Republican Congress. Instead, how about some facts? I'm no "Obama apologist," but credit where credit is due. Lately he's been executing some well-placed kicks in the ass. [...]

Weekly jobless claims fall… yet again. Lowest since 2006. #BlameObama

Yes, it's true. Fox is reporting upbeat economic news again, and it goes a little something like this: The number of Americans filing for first-time unemployment benefits fell last week to 287,000 from an upwardly revised 288,000. Wall Street expected claims to rise to 294,000 from an initially reported 287,000. I think we can all agree that this is getting out of hand. How dare Fox spotlight anything that could possibly put President Obama in a favorable light? Are they nuts?! Well if they are, so is the Star Tribune: "With the pace of firings exceptionally low, and surveys signaling [...]

“All the leading indicators for the job market look good.” #BlameObama

Because we all trust Fox more than any source on earth, here is some upbeat news that is being overlooked today... directly from Fox Biz: Payroll processor ADP reports the private sector added 213,000 jobs in September, more than the 210,000 jobs Wall Street anticipated. Here's more info, this time from a major member of the dreaded "librul media," the Los Angeles Times: The private sector added 213,000 net new jobs last month, indicating that the labor market rebounded after a disappointing August, payroll firm Automatic Data Processing said Wednesday. The September job growth was an improvement from ADP's figure [...]

Weekly jobless claims fall… again #BlameObama

Via David Horsey Oh how I love to use the #BlameObama hashtag to annoy trolls. Of course it goes without saying that President Obama isn't personally responsible for all economic events---good or bad--- including jobs reports. But since Republicans insist on blaming him for everything under the sun, why not hop on the bandwagon? And with that, here it is, directly from an email alert from none other than Fox Biz, the most trusted name ever, some upbeat employment numbers: The number of Americans filing for first-time unemployment benefits fell last week to 280,000 from an initially reported 315,000 the week [...]
