I’m here at the Talkers convention… I just spoke briefly on “Making the case for local talk radio” which perhaps I’ll recount for you next week.
But I did want to share what happened last night. Sean Hannity received his award for outstanding community service. Before anyone could ask him about the story about what’s happened to the funds raised by his Freedom Alliance, he addressed it himself. Basically, he said that he hasn’t taken any money for transportation and, even more importantly, that there’s a trust fund with $15 million for the families of our fallen soldiers.
I hope it’s true… I’m sure there are many who will check the veracity of his statements. But this is a good reminder that there are two sides to every story!
