Podcast: Play in new window

That’s an actual billboard that appeared in a few cities around the country this year. Seriously.

My answer to the question is a resounding “NO!”.  In fact, the inane Bushisms that he subjected the American public to for eight long years have been replaying in my mind recently as Mitt Romney has been quite prolific with his own arsenal of assininity.

A couple of months ago, I put together a montage of some of Mitt’s stupider sayings, and realized this morning that it was time for an update.  Have a listen…

While that was playing, I remembered back to my farewell to W.  As he was leaving the White House for the last time on January 20, 2009, I celebrated with a salute to his most infamous Bushisms.  As I come from a radio background, I figured we’d do it creatively… so, here’s “W- A to Z”

Miss him yet? Hell no. And I certainly don’t want another one like him as my president. Please.

In the second hour of today’s show, I spoke with Jason Leopold of Truthout.org, who knows the ins and outs of the Freedom of Information Act.  His latest piece tells of the DHS’ problems with Michael Hastings reporting for Rolling Stone…  all uncovered via emails Jason was sent as part of his FOIA request for DHS monitoring of Occupy Wall Street protesters.

So much for the First Amendment…
