I like the concept of “Giving Tuesday” – especially in the wake of the crass commercialism of the past few days (not to mention the coming three weeks!).  Today, we’ll be giving lots of stuff to  Women in Distress here in South Florida.

I encourage you to find a great organization to give to today – perhaps check out Ellen Ratner’s Goats for the Old Goat – and,  of course, your giving is always welcome here to help support our work at Radio or Not!

Today, I was joined by an old friend of the show, Kevin Zeese. He’s one of the organizers behind Flush the TPP and today’s global day of action to inform about and protest against toxic trade agreements.

And if it’s Tuesday, we hang with Laffy!  GottaLaff of The Political Carnival joined in to talk about how the US has devolved into a nation of nasty, selfish trolls.  So much for that moment of optimism I felt last week!

Tomorrow on the show, we’ll talk with Crooks & Liars’ Susie Madrak, as we do on Wednesdays.  Plus, I’m thrilled that Donna Smith will join me in the second hour tomorrow.  Donna has been on my show many times in the past few years.  I followed her story from Michael Moore’s Sicko through today – and you’ll be moved by what she’s gone through too.

If you haven’t yet seen it, I encourage you to watch Sicko. It’s free, just click play:
