Let us offer up hope that a grinning Loretta Lynch knows the digits of a satirical florist in Fort Lee … the ultimate Big Man Jig appears to finally be up. Quick vote: So, how many progressives beside moi and Laffy are jumping up and down inside about the epic Bridgegate news?!? Smug has a whole new meaning when a rat-trap like the FBI nets a biggie, New Jersey gubernatorial body Christopher Christie. […]
It's official. Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee for the 2016 presidential election. What's next? We'll discuss the possibilities today with professor and author Harvey J. Kaye and Blue America's Howie Klein. Plus, the Alberta Tar Sands are burning, and D'ump doesn't believe in Climate Change...
Bernie Sanders proved the pundits and pollsters wrong by winning Indiana by 5 points. Now on to West Virginia. Today, we push back on the right wing narratives about the two Democratic campaigns fundraising with Politico's Ken Vogel and The Intercept's Lee Fang. Today's show was delayed as our power here in South Florida went out just moments before air time. When it came back on and I was still able to get Ken and Lee on to discuss their respective stories, we went for it. Of course, two minutes after ending the show, the power went out again. Welcome to FloriDUH and our fabulous infrastructure.
Nicole is back after a day off for technical difficulties. We should be back in better shape than ever, in time for a big primary day. Today, Nicole is joined by fellow Sander-supporter in the new media world, Tim Black. Plus it's Tuesday, so GottaLaff joins in for hour 2!
Nicole's under the weather today, so figured this is a good day to replay some of her old interviews with Bernie Sanders. So, it's Sanders and Sandler, 2010-2015 as we Feel the Bern!
Nicole Sandler was at last night's Democratic debate in Miami and shares her observations from the back of the hall. Harvey J. Kaye returns to discuss the insanity of the 2016 election season and more. And foreclosure defense attorney Bruce Jacobs tells us why the foreclosure crisis hasn't been mentioned in the debates, but is the sleeper issue of the 2016 election cycle.
Nicole discusses last night's first Democratic debate between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton with Julianna Forlano and singer-songwriter Jill Sobule
Today marks the anniversary of the day when Democracy was dealt a deadly blow- The Supreme Court handed down its awful ruling on Citizens United. Later that day, Air America radio ceased operations. Nicole shares her memories of learning she was, again, unemployed! Harvey J. Kaye weighs in on the last Democratic debate, and Howie Klein gives us all the political dirt and introduces us to some great progressive candidates too...
It's a busy day on the show, as Nicole Sandler hosts The Clash over Campaign Cash, a debate between Move to Amend's David Cobb and Shaun McCutcheon, who won his suit claiming aggregate limits on the amount of money an individual can contribute to a political party or the number of Federal candidates is unconstitutional at the Supreme Court. In the first hour, Nicole welcomes Tim Canova, the law professor and political activist challenging Debbie Wasserman Schultz in the primary. And Deborah Newell joins in for our Wednesday morning dip into the Oy FloriDUH files too.
Nicole Sandler wraps up a big week with a discussion of last night's GOP debate and the rest of the news. Julianna Forlano adds the humor to the otherwise depressing news. And for Flashback Fri, Nicole takes us back to 15 years ago tomorrow for her interview with David Gray, and then to March of 01 for a wonderful performance by Jeb Loy Nichols.
