It’s Day Four of public hearings in the impeachment inquiry into Donald J. Trump. Gordon Sondland, the US Ambassador to the UK, is the sole witness in the morning session, and his testimony appears to be the most devastating to Trump so far. The afternoon session, with Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Laura Cooper and Under-Secretary of State David Hall will likely begin right around the time we go live (3pm ET). We’ll play it by year, carrying any live testimony while the show is live, complete with my snarky running commentary.
Tonight is the 5th Democratic debate. I’ll watch that too, so you don’t have to.
